“Hello World!” hey, looks like as good a place as any to start so I might leave that as the title of the first post for this blog.
PlayingTheOdds is a blog by a gaming group about games, in particular the games we play (or want to play). With luck we will hopefully be able to present some game reviews, chronicles or just plain opinion pieces (and maybe even a bit of math) on our favourite pastime. Expect to see coverage of computer games as well as board and card games, miniature games and good ‘ole role playing games.
We’ll be posting when we can to start off with, until we get the ball rolling and can set a more regular schedule. Also please bear with us as we tidy the site up and make it look more like home
As to why this blog is called “Playing The Odds”, well when a new player asks the secrets to success in gaming, my favourite response is, “It is all about playing the odds!”
